Lower School 6-7

The Infant curriculum is delivered by enthusiastic, qualified teachers and designed to build on previously acquired skills. It consists of more structured lessons to develop natural curiosity and enthusiasm for life long learning.

The emphasis in the Lower School is to provide an extensive grounding in core subjects which include Speaking and Listening skills, Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science and ICT.

Reading is one of the most important aspects of this key stage and children read every day to a member of staff.

In addition, the full range of foundation subjects are taught to enable children to benefit from a wealth of knowledge and experiences in Religious Education, Design and Technology, Information and Communication Technology, History, Geography, French, Art and Design, Music, Physical Education and Citizenship. Specialist teachers take each class for Physical Education,  French and ICT.
